I keep a super low maintenance 55 gallon fresh water tank. No water changes, no C02 injection, no fertilizer, no medicines. I don't even test the water anymore! My fish and plants are super healthy! The book to read about how to do it is by Diana Walstad. She runs a forum at aquabotanic.com
